The project respects the traditional structure of the I-Ching, utilizing the three-coin method and the Wilhelm/Baynes translation as its primary interpretative framework.
The Practice
A consultation consists of throwing three coins six times. Each toss determines one of the six lines that form a hexagram, building the symbol from the bottom upward, mirroring the organic growth of a situation.
Solid lines (Yang) represent active, creative energy, while broken lines (Yin) represent receptive, grounded energy.
When a line is marked with a golden point, it is "changing." This indicates that the energy of that line has reached its peak and is transitioning into its opposite state. The first hexagram describes your current state; the second reveals the potential direction of change.
